AN experienced dispute resolution solicitor has become the seventh legal professional in just a few weeks to join growing regional firm BHP Law.

Aimee Hubbard is based at the firm's Newcastle Quayside office but will also work from BHP's bases in Darlington, Durham and Teesside.

She has joined BHP as an associate, having qualified eight years ago and has a range of commercial litigation and property litigation experience.

Aimee, who is originally from Ponteland, studied law at Leicester University and spent a year studying French law at Strasbourg University. She taught English in China before completing an LLM in International Trade at Newcastle University and the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in York.

Aimee trained as a solicitor in London and has previously worked for Zurich and law firms in London and West Sussex. More recently she worked for a commercial law firm in Newcastle for six years.

Keen golfer Aimee said: "Joining BHP is a fantastic new challenge for me at an exciting time for the firm, which is growing rapidly.

"I can serve clients across the region, as well as nationally and internationally, from our network of offices, and within the dispute resolution team at BHP there is a wealth of commercial litigation experience across a broad range of sectors so we are well placed to advise both business and private clients."
