A PUPIL had designs on the prize when she produced a vibrant Christmas card in a schools competition.
Lola Moss, of Reid Street Primary School, Darlington, captured the attention of judges with her brightly coloured tree in a contest that attracted 300 entries.
The seven-year-old’s design will now be adopted by tech company IT Solutions as they spread cheer among their clients. She was presented with an Air Up drinking cup as reward for her efforts.
IT Systems’ Tristen Coad said: “This is the first time we have run this competition and we were delighted with the response. Reid Street is a lovely school and one of our biggest supporters and we loved Lola’s design.”
Lola added: “I enjoyed designing the card and was really pleased to win.”
Meanwhile, fellow pupil Harper Garthwaite, seven, was also thrilled after coming runner-up in a town-wide Christmas card design competition run by the town’s MP Peter Gibson.
