SCHOOL leavers picked up the Glasto vibe as they brought their primary learning to an end in fine fashion.
Year 6 children from Barnard Castle Preparatory School attended a festival of fun with their very own GlastonBarney, an evening of food, games and soaring sounds.
Bouncy assault courses, a football target practice challenge and knockout spinners were among a variety of games set up on the school fields as staff performed live music to create a festival feel.
Headmistress Laura Turner said: “All the children look forward to GlastonBarney as a rite of passage and for the Year 6 pupils it marks the end of their primary education.
“The children are looking forward to moving seamlessly into year 7 at Barnard Castle School and are more than prepared for what is always an easy transition to the next stage of their learning.”
