YEAR 6 pupils paid a fond farewell to their Prep school with a festival of fun and frolicking.
Children from Barnard Castle Preparatory School enjoyed the Glasto vibe with their very own festival of music and mayhem.
In a rite of passage introduced several years ago the Year 6s pupils were invited to GlastonBarney for an evening of food, games and festival sounds.
Bouncy assault courses, bungee runathons and challenging knockout spinners were among a variety of games set up on the school fields as staff and students performed live music for that festival feel.
Headmistress Laura Turner said: “The children look forward to GlastonBarney very much as it marks the end of their primary education and sets them on the way to secondary school in fine fashion.”
